Interesting idea, dumb ending and by ending I mean second half of the book, not just the final results. Billi blames herself for not being able to save her mom. There are vampires called ghulswerewolves, fallen angels, etc.
Also her father was so cruel and I thought the explanation was too convenient I happily accepted it though in order to move on to more mystery supernatural stuff. All and all, it was pretty exciting. This story has a seriousness that I appreciated, yet it challenged me to keep reading. Even though she still has felts for him, she does know if she can trust him again after he broke her heart once Werewolves, Vampires, Fallen Angels and Satan himself.
Despite the Templar being her legacy, Billi resents her destiny. You don’t find books these days targetted at young adults. She fights with Kay her boy Maybe he just has that kis of face.
Devil’s Kiss (Devil’s Kiss, #1) by Sarwat Chadda
The book sounds great, but I don’t think I could get over that Notify me of new posts via email. The cover is the first thing that threw me. However not long after this I became confused. Normal teenagers do have to worry about their over-protective fathers, but Billi’s father carries weapons and he sarwwat how to use them.

Sheezaain from Bhutan I was almost stuck reading dis book I thoroughly enjoyed his writing style; he didn’t mince words, and dwvils it was still very refined. She must fight or die, that is the life of a Templar.
My favorite part of the book was probably the violent paranormal aspect of it. This sets Billi up as a difficult, resentful sort of teen. With a character who’s mother is Muslim and father is a Catholic Knight, I expected there to be a lot more exploration of religion, but this is actually a fairly secular book, despite that.
I recommend this book to people out there than want a grand picture of things. Billi’s life is turned upside down when her sarwta friend Kay returns from his year long trip to train in Jerusalem. Billi and Kay grew up together.
And for sarrwat my complaining, Bilquis is no Bella—thank goodness!

As if being a teen wasn’t bad enough, she’s considered weird because of her constant bruises and cuts, and the fact that her father was on trial for her mother’s murder.
Billi is just fifteen-years-old, and when we meet her she is being inducted into the Templar. He looks after her sidenote: It’s a lot darker than most of the YA urban fantasy out there, which is a refreshing change in and of itself. The author isn’t trying to make nice, “sparkly” vampires or friendly monsters.
